The western side of the island is slotted with protected coves that sport long sandy beaches flanked by rocky ridges dotted with cactus. The opposite side is a kaleidescope of colorful cliffs plunging dramatically into the sea. Sea kayaking and camping on the beach are why people go to Espiritu Santo, as well as the awesome snorkeling, which includes visiting Los Islotes for the joyful excitement of swimming with exuberant young sea lions.

Isla Espiritu Santo

La Isla Espiritu Santo en el Golfo de California es una de nuestras maravillosas Areas Naturales Protegidas, el complejo insular es uno de los sitios con mayor biodiversisad y productividad de la zona.

El recorrido lo empezamos en pleno Malecón en la Ciudad de La Paz, B.C.S., frente a nuestras oficinas, en alguna de nuestras embarcaciones especialmente equipadas la Espiritu I dirigida por el Capitan Mike, o la Espiritu II dirigida por el Capitan Beto, quienes junto con los guias, nos preparan con sus platicas e indicaciones para que esta aventura sea realmente placentera y asi ya listos y equipados con chalecos salvavidas salimos rumbo a la Isla, admirando la belleza del paisaje que nos depara gratas sorpresas... Casi siempre nos acompañan durante el recorrido, esos simpaticos delfines que parece que ya nos esperan y si aun corremos con suerte, podemos llegar a ver y admirar a un Tiburon Ballena, o a Ballenas de aleta, incluso si es epoca de invierno podemos ver a lo lejos como muestran su majestuosidad las Ballenas que regresan a las aguas que las vio nacer, tambien podemos apreciar infinidad de aves y diversas especies marinas.

Llegando ya a la Isla podemos ver la Colonia de Lobos Marinos, y la emocion nos llena de saber que podremos nadar con ellos... es una experiencia maravillosa!
